‘Bones’ season 12: The latest odds and ends

With the final-season premiere of “Bones” starting to be right around the corner, we’re glad that there is still some news trickling in here and there. After all, production is still underway, though we are starting to get a little bit closer to the end of the road.

How close are we to the end? According to a post on Twitter from Pej Vahdat (Arastoo), the show recently starting filming the 11th episode of the season. Therefore, it’s not going to be long until the series finale begins, and we suppose that the cast and crew are already starting to check of their lasts — as in, the last time they visit a specific set or work with a certain character. It’s probably a little bit emotional, but we figure it will only become even more so in the coming weeks.

As for the desire endgame for Vahdat’s character, we just how that it involves him and Cam finding some happiness, but also a path ahead that is both exciting and challenging.

As for some other news, “Married … with Children” alum David Faustino declared in a post on his Twitter (see below) that he worked earlier this week with David Boreanaz. There aren’t too many other details publicly available as of yet, but it’s something to keep in mind. Faustino is extremely complimentary of the cast and crew in the clip, even though it’s a brief one.

We know that there are some other notable guest stars coming, including Betty White, Eric Millegan (reprising his role following the finale), Eddie McClintock, and many more.
