‘Chicago Fire’ season 5 spoilers: More details on 100th episode

Chicago Fire -

We’ve already told you that the 100th episode of “Chicago Fire” is coming your way on December 6, and that Molly’s going to have an important part to play in the story.

Now, we’ve got a little bit more information as to what that role will be. Per NBC, Otis is going to convince Herrmann to throw a massive celebration in honor of the establishment’s 100th birthday. You certainly gotta credit the writers for coming up with the synergy there, and it also makes sense that Molly’s would front and center in this episode given that it is at the heart of the entire “Chicago” franchise at this point. So many different characters meet up there, and it’s a hub that all of them can collectively visit. This celebration could also boost business — which apparently the presence of a certain social-media star did not lift.

As for what else is coming up on this episode of the show, be prepared to see Casey and Dawson do their best to move forward with their adoption of Louie; they’ll apply for adoption formally, but in true “Chicago Fire” fashion, something could come up that ends up getting in the way.

Meanwhile, be prepared to see the return of Jeff Clarke in this episode! That’s exciting to us mostly in that it’s a full-circle moment for the character, who used to be a part of this show before becoming a medical student. He’ll be turning up here specifically so that he can issue a proposition to Severide.

As a whole, we anticipate that this episode bee everything that you love about the “Chicago” franchise, whether it be the humor and the strong character moments, or some of the drama and danger that makes them so addictive and shows that you cannot afford to miss.
