‘Power’ season 4 teaser: Ghost keeps missing calls
Waiting for “Power” season 4? Well, you’re gonna be waiting a long time, since we don’t expect the arrival of season 4 to come until the summer of 2017.
Yet, at least the folks over at Starz continue to be very kind when it comes to releasing new teasers here and there regarding the show’s future. As of late, we chronicled the future of one Mike Sandoval based on a photo from the show’s official Twitter account; now, said account is doing something a little bit bigger in releasing a full-on teaser of what you can expect to see!
If there’s one way to describe this one, it’s as follows: A ton of missed calls. Ghost (Omari Hardwick) implores someone at the prison to let him pick up the phone, given that he’s receiving numerous calls from Tasha (Naturi Naughton). Unfortunately, we don’t quite see that happening. At the end of season 3 Angela (Lela Loren) was the one responsible for arresting her ex, holding him responsible for the murder of Greg and preparing to have him rot in prison for the foreseeable future. Will it change anything if she learns that Mike is the responsible party? Probably, but this still doesn’t wash away everything else that Ghost is responsible for, including what he and Tommy did in regards to Lobos earlier on in this season.
Given that “Power” would not be the same show if Ghost spent the remainder of it in prison, we’ve gotta believe that he will find his way out in due time. The questions to ponder, at least for now, are how that happens, and also what his life and future could be like now on the other side. Presumably, many of his business deals could be shot as a result of the bad press that comes along with this arrest — even if he isn’t found guilty of a thing.
Rest assured: Throughout the rest of this sure-to-be-long “Power” offseason, we’re going to be offering up some further news related to the show over at the link here. (Photo: Starz.)
