‘Teen Wolf’ season 6, episode 2 preview: What comes after Stiles, Lydia confession

Teen Wolf -

Tonight, MTV’s “Teen Wolf” brought us yet another big episode, and one that we absolutely feel started off the last season of the show in a huge way. After all, how else do you describe what we saw with Stiles and Lydia? We know that this was not necessarily any confirmation that the two are going to be in a relationship moving forward, but we do like to think that this was a valuable stepping stone that will get us from point A to point B.

Unfortunately, there’s another huge problem that is pushing point B far off into the distance, and that is the reality of the Ghost Riders and what they decided to do in order to make life almost impossible for these characters to move forward together. After all, who realizes that Stiles is even gone now? He’s been wiped from the world.

The promo below serves as a wonderful opportunity to get a sense (even though it’s just a small glimpse) as to what is coming up moving forward, in particular with something big happening with Mason. We have to figure that it’s easier than what he went through last season, right? Well, there’s a popular expression that is all about what happens when you assume things…

Elsewhere in the episode, we feel like most of the onus is going to be on Lydia to try to figure things out over time with Stiles. As for how she’ll be able to potentially remember him, it could have a lot to do with the connection that these two have. Maybe there’s something to her being a banshee and there’s some unknown ability she has as a result of that, but we think it’s a lot more powerful if her ability to remember stems from a much more human place.
