‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: Veto Ceremony results; Morgan reveals the sister secret to Kryssie

Morgan -We’re going to speed right through the boring part of this particular “Big Brother: Over the Top” update, mostly because of the fact that we don’t consider it to be altogether interesting other than as a means of stating facts: Shelby used the Power of Veto on Morgan at the Ceremony today, which means that Danielle is almost certainly going home this week over Jason. They are now the only two people on the block.

Now, let’s get to the juicy stuff: At around 12:45 p.m. Big Brother Time, Morgan decided to tell Kryssie that she was Alex’s sister as a way to earn trust with her and prove that she was ready to go all the way to the final four with her in this game. On paper, this isn’t a bad move, since we’ve seen this sort of “confide a secret in somebody” strategy work well with some other people. For example, we’ve seen it work for Tony in “Survivor: Cagayan.” It’s odd that telling someone you’ve been lying to them can be a worthwhile strategic move, but sometimes it is, and people actually start to become a little bit more trusting of you in the process!

Unfortunately, this is Kryssie. We’re not speaking here about a player who is particularly malleable. Kryssie’s body language during this entire conversation screamed “I don’t care,” and we think the odds are very high that she goes and tells Jason after the fact given that’s who she likes. Kryssie is not a devious player, and she’s going to want to stay with the people who are her friends.

If America wasn’t voting for people to win, we would argue that this wasn’t really much of a bad move for Morgan given that she was going to be a target either way. Here, it’s potentially bad because it’s further fuel to not take her to the end given that she could have Alex out there campaigning hard for her to win. Sure, she would’ve been doing that anyway, but this shows further that you have a huge ally outside of the house.
