‘Supergirl’ season 2, episode 6 video: Is Kara drunk?

Over the course of two seasons of “Supergirl,” we’ve definitely seen quite a few funny and awkward situations play out for Kara Danvers, but we’re not quite sure any of them are as odd as the one that we’ve got for you in the sneak peek below.

In this preview, it looks as though Kara was out for a good time with Mon-El, and as a result of it, she’s completely wasted. For the record, this seems to resolve the question as to if there is a way for her to get blasted. Here’s the problem: While she may be young and she’s certainly deserving of a chance here and there to let herself go and relax, it’s a little hard to do so when you’ve got the weight of National City and even the world on your shoulders.

There is a crisis that is starting to make itself clear in this preview, but the problem is that Kara is not even remotely in a condition where she can help to resolve the problem. Therefore, we’re going to be seeing some other people — namely Hank and Alex — have to take the jet instead.

Do we want Kara to have a little more time to relax? Certainly so, but she’s going to have to figure out the right times and places to have that happen now that Mon-El is around. She’s learned that he is very different from her in terms of personality, and much like she couldn’t change him in order to suit her interests, she also cannot change herself for him. Let’s just say that “Changing” may be a very appropriate title for this episode in the end.
