‘Secrets and Lies’ season 2, episode 7 video: What is Melanie hiding?

There’s another new episode of “Secrets and Lies” coming to ABC on Sunday night, and this one’s going to make one thing even more clear than it already was: Eric’s entire family is on the verge of falling apart because of … well, secrets and lies. Sometimes the title for the show really is the perfect way to describe it!

In the sneak peek below for this episode, you can see Eric meet up with Melanie in the midst of his search for Patrick, but she makes it clear to him that he’s not around. Basically, this leads to him asking for some other information; specifically, he’s looking to figure out why she deleted the security tapes on the night that Kate died. She claims that she had her reasons, and that’s about it.  He doesn’t get any more information from her beyond just a reminder that there is a massive rift that doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon.

The more that we see from this show, and the more we think that the possibilities are still numerous for what happened to Kate; we’re not going so far as to say that they’re unlimited, but there are quite a few different possibilities out there for what could’ve gone on.

Bonus sneak peek – John’s back in town after a business trip — or at least one that he claims was a business trip. Unfortunately for him, he ran into Cornell fairly quickly. She demanded from him some more information on records, and also his clothes the night of the incident. She’s clearly cornering him, and he does his best to play things off. There’s no proof of anything as of yet, but John’s of course someone you gotta keep your eye on for the rest of the season.
