‘Shark Tank’ video: Toor, Jack’s Stands, Milk Snob, and Chi’lantro
Earlier today, we brought you some of our first impressions of some of the products appearing on Friday night’s new episode of “Shark Tank,” and we’re now back for more! Specifically, we’ve got some video content to give you more of a sense as to how some of these companies are promoting their brands, and whether or not they’ve got a good chance of getting a deal.
If you didn’t see that preview, one thing that will be noticeably different right away here is the presence of one Chris Sacca, who is back in the Tank for the first time this season! Always happy to have him. Update: You can see the full review tonight over here.
Milk Snob – There isn’t a whole lot to go on here in terms of impressions from the Sharks; instead, this is a pretty solid video summary of what the product is, and its multiple uses, whether it be as a car seat cover to a wait to get some assistance during nursing. We can sense some nerves here, but we don’t think that is necessarily a bad thing on this show. As long as you can articulate your brand and have smart business sense, you tend to be okay.
Jack’s Stands and Marketplaces – Isn’t it fun sometimes to have kids in the Tank, especially ones that are this articulate about what it is their business is? We’re still not sure how viable this business is, given that kids going somewhere else to sell lemonade and drinks that already have a foundation set loses a little bit of its organic charm. We do admire the passion that Jack seems to have for it, and the mission to help teach other kids business skills is a nice life lesson.
Chi’lantro – This guy has tried to be on the show seemingly for a long time, and he’s happy to finally be there. He’s got several food trucks at this point selling his innovative take on Korean BBQ, and also some physical locations to boot. What we wonder now is pretty simple: Does he even need the Tank if his business is doing this well? We’re not sure, but we do think there’s an opening out there for a fast-casual Korean place in the market.
Toor – First of all, love this guy’s suit. Also, we gotta root for him since he’s from Dallas! Hometown love, right? Anyway, this presentation is simple, to-the-point, and pretty great. We don’t have any interest in the product (we’re not a real-estate agent or a home-buyer, and therefore have no use for this, but we do think he articulates his innovation well. We just wonder if he’s going a little overboard with the valuation of $5 million.
Rest assured, we’ll be back later tonight to dive more into this episode of “Shark Tank”! We’ll include a link for the article right around that time. (Photo: ABC.)
