‘Gotham’ season 3 spoilers: Things between Jim, Mario come to a head

While Jim Gordon may not be romantically intertwined with Lee Thompkins on “Gotham” this season, we’ve gotten a pretty clear sense as of late that those feelings are not going away anytime soon. As a matter of fact, we will see matters escalate before the end of the year between him and Lee’s new fiance Mario Falcone.

Specifically, we’re talking about the upcoming November 29 installment, which carries with it the title of “Beware the Green-Eyed Monster.” According to a report from SpoilerTV, these two are going to face off before the wedding, and we can imagine that there’ll be some pretty harsh consequences one way or another.

As for what else is going to be happening in this episode, we can at least offer up a few teasers on that right now.

1. Barbara Kean will hand over some valuable information – After Isabella seemingly disappeared (or, got hit by a train), she could be the one who hands over some information from Oswald Cobblepot. What does she want in return, and how does she have information in the first place? These are both good questions. For us, another big one is just how in the world she’s been so stable for most of the season to date.

2. To stop a virus – We’re going to be seeing something spread over the course of the episode in the city. Is this the same virus from Alice that Nathaniel Barnes contracted that’s turning him over to the dark side? It’s a great question, but not one we can fully answer right now.

What we do know is that even if this is not the fall finale, we imagine that it’s close to it. At around this point, the show will have to start to look at what the second half of the season, following the hiatus, will revolve around.
