‘Lethal Weapon’ episode 7 preview: Hilarie Burton guest-stars in ‘Fashion Police’
While we’d use many a different term to describe either Riggs or Murtaugh from “Lethal Weapon,” we’re not sure that “fashionable” would be particularly high on the list. These are guys who are skilled at many different things, in particular taking down bad guys using almost any tool at their disposal.
Moving into next week’s “Fashion Police,” we could see them at first in unfamiliar territory; luckily, they may not have to stay in the world of fashion for long, given that we’re eventually going to get into deeper investigation into the drug trade. This should prove entertaining, and if you’re not interested enough in the case-of-the-week on its own, you’ve also got an appearance coming up from “White Collar” alum Hilarie Burton, otherwise known as someone we’ll never tire of seeing on TV.
Synopsis – “As Riggs and Murtaugh examine the murder of one of L.A.’s fashion expeditors, they follow a trail of evidence that leads them to an ongoing and exceptionally dangerous underground investigation led by the Drug Enforcement Administration. In the meantime, Trish and the kids are off visiting colleges, leaving Murtaugh to a “bender” of his own, while Riggs has trouble sleeping through the night due to his all-too-real dreams of Miranda.”
We’re sure that we will have a little bit more of a discussion for you in this article after we get through the episode airing. Before we get to that point, let’s just give you a reminder the if you watch this show and enjoy it, it really is important that you check it out live. We know that it’s got something resembling a full-season order this time, but of course we’re worried about the ratings tonight given not only the election aftermath, but also the two-week hiatus.
Promo – There’s not a whole lot of further insight in this video, but we do think that Fox is using the right marketing strategy here. Rather than focusing on specific story events here (people don’t know the show well enough yet), they’re reminding viewers that it is action-packed and funny to boot. In this climate, that’s exactly what many people need.
