‘Arrow’ season 5 books ‘The Walking Dead’ actress for mystery role
“Arrow” is starting to add to its guest cast in the second half of this season, and per the latest casting notice, we’ve got one that is shrouded in great mystery.
Per a report from Variety, “The Walking Dead” and “Constantine” actress Juliana Harkavy will be appearing across multiple episodes of the season (starting in the second half) as Tina, a woman described as “harsh but tactful … She’s tough, speaks her mind and has the skills and experience to back it up.” She’s got a history as a detective in Central City, but it’s unclear what exactly her job history is right now.
Tina may have strong feelings about vigilantes running around with an agenda, and we got a feeling that she in turn will probably react specifically to Oliver, Wild Dog, and the rest of the crew in very interesting ways. Who knows? Maybe she ends up being a villain. We’d like to learn the identity of Prometheus until the second half of the season, but the possibility’s at least out there.
As for what’s coming over the next few weeks on “Arrow,” the show’s got some other distinct priorities. For one, the writers have the challenge of working in order to properly determine the course of action against Tobias Church, while John Diggle needs to establish an ordinary life (if such a thing is possible) following his release from military prison. He’s a wanted man now most-likely, so it’s a little different than the normal life he held before. Oh, and there’s also the huge crossover event coming up that’s also going to encompass the upcoming 100th episode alongside “Supergirl,” “The Flash,” and “Legends of Tomorrow.”
