‘Gotham’ season 3 spoilers: When will Ivy reveal the truth to Bruce, Selina?

Through most of “Gotham” season 3 to date, what we’ve seen more so than anything else is the show slow-playing the story of Ivy. We’ve seen her start to work her way across the city with her new abilities, but has declined against telling any of her old friends the truth about her. For now, she’s preferred leaving them in suspense, and playing what she believes is a rather cruel trick on them.

Eventually, though, Ivy’s going to make some sort of a change, and we could see this play out on the upcoming November 14 episode entitled “Mad City: The Executioner.” Per the official Fox synopsis, you’re going to get a chance to see her come clean to Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne, but there are going to be some issues that come about as a result of that.

As for what else you’re going to be seeing in this episode, be prepared to see some more drama between Nygma and Penguin when the former hasn’t heart from a newcomer in his life for a little while. Meanwhile, Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock start to wonder if Barnes is becoming a monster, which seems right given what we know that he’s becoming in the wake of what happened with Alice earlier this season.

In the end, we imagine that the biggest thing you can expect here is further carnage, and some signs that life’s not getting better for some of these characters. Given what Barnes is going through in particular, we wonder if he’s going to be long for this world at all; he almost died last season on the show thanks to Theo Galavan, and typically characters who descend into madness, other than maybe Barbara, tend to not be around for too much longer.
