While there are going to be many shows on Fox that are going to be impacted by the World Series being broadcast on the network, ironically baseball drama “Pitch” is not going to be one of them. With that being said, you aren’t going to see it come on the air tonight.
So what gives with that? The answer is really so simply as “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” remake getting somewhat in the way. This is a TV movie that we’re certainly rather excited to see, but it airing means that the network is having to push everything else back for another week. Therefore, “Pitch” is done until you get around to October 20, and that’s when some of this drama is going to start to unfold again.
While you wait, why not hand over a few other teasers about upcoming episodes, as well? Here’s some of what you can expect.
November 3 – This episode, entitled “Wear It,” will in part revolve around Ginny trying to handle the excitement and the pressure that comes from a new Nike endorsement. Obviously, it’s the sort of lucrative thing that any athlete out there would want, but there are some pressures that go along with being one of the faces of a brand.
November 10 – This episode is entitled “San Francisco,” and at some point over the course of it, multiple characters are going to have to work together in order to stop the spread of a scandal involving our leading lady.
If there is a silver lining with this hiatus, maybe the extra time is going to make it further possible for some viewers out there to get caught up again with the series. We certainly hope that this is the case, mostly because this already seems a little like a show that needs some help in the ratings.
