‘NCIS’ season 14, episode 5 sneak peeks: Duane Henry’s return, Quinn’s past, and more

Duane -Tuesday night’s new episode of “NCIS” is right around the corner, and based on some of the information that we’re getting from it courtesy of some new CBS sneak peeks, there are quite a few different developments you should be on the lookout for.

Before we get to the return of Duane Henry to the show as Clayton Reeves, how about we start things off with Nick Torres putting his foot in his mouth in the most epic way imaginable? After he, Bishop, and McGee try to get into Alex Quinn’s head regarding some of her feelings, he makes a tacky generalization about how all women are looking to settle down, and some just may not want to admit it. Let’s just say that this does not go over well. Personally, we think some of this behavior from Torres comes courtesy of him being undercover for so long that he doesn’t understand some socially-acceptable behavior patterns; also, maybe he hasn’t taken himself out of his own sphere of influence enough.

Meanwhile, the second sneak preview focuses more on what’s going on at the site of the latest murder investigation, which appears to be a joint operation between the NCIS team and MI6. That’s why Clayton is there, and regardless of what happens, all signs point towards him sticking around given that Henry is now a series regular.

What’s also of note here is that the team is going to be shipped off to Upper Darby, Pennsylvania at one point, and this is not something Quinn is excited to hear. It stems back to something in her past, which is going to be explored more at length in this episode. It may explain further why she stopped serving as an agent for a stretch of time.
