‘It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown’ 50th Anniversary, ‘Lucifer’ filming, Carpool Karaoke sightings

It’s Friday! Kiss the work week goodbye and enjoy some great TV tonight on prime time. Perhaps you are dreaming of that island vacation, but don’t have the time. Well, if you’re like me, you can always improvise. Shut off the cell phone and watch “Hawaii Five-0” uninterrupted.  If it’s impossible to wait until the evening, may I suggest that you rush over to YouTube and at least listen to the theme song. Hopefully that will get you through the day!

Carpool Karaoke: James Corden, Lady Gaga sightings keep rolling in

If you watch social media, the sightings of Lady Gaga and James Corden driving around Los Angeles singing keep rolling in. I guess I should point out these are false sightings of Carpool Karaoke as the real taping happened a few days ago (and there was even proof with a fan’s photo). However, driving by the studio today, it’s obvious these fake alerts have people excited a little too. Don’t worry though, you can see Lady Gaga on Carpool Karaoke soon enough. Keep an eye on the “Late Late Show with James Corden” as the show has promised this segment will be released very soon!

‘Lucifer’ filming offers a glimpse of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden

Fans of “Lucifer” who live in Vancouver were probably were thrilled to see the cast on location this week. The popular location of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden had sightings of the cast. This famous garden, in Chinatown, definitely set the scene for some big story and while I’d love to share the details, there aren’t many to be offered. Which makes all the fans ready to see how this beautiful place fits into the episode. Don’t forget to set your DVR to FOX for the chance to watch “Lucifer” on Monday nights.

‘It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown’ Celebrates 50th Anniversary

In 2016, the show “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” is celebrating its 50th anniversary. You probably know the show by heart. Most fans can recite the lines because they have seen it so many times. However, that’s no excuse to miss this American tradition. Make sure you set your DVR to tape this Halloween classic on ABC, Wednesday, October 19 at 8p.m.

And finally…. ‘Untold Stories of the E.R.’ offers a look at the silly, strange elements of the hospital

When we watch “Code Black” or “Gray’s Anatomy” there isn’t much thought to the stories presented. We know the issues might be related to real situations, but how close and how much it has been altered for television is unknown. Which is why “Untold Stories of the E.R.” might be one of the coolest documentaries yet. Yes, this show is based on true stories and they try to get the original people involved in the story. If you find yourself watching this series on Discover Life on Friday night and think you have a stranger story, don’t let me be the one to stop you from submitting it. The other day I saw a casting call looking for people who had strange E.R. stories online. It appears shows like this are always on the prowl for new, strange stories. (Photo: ABC.)
