‘Big Brother: Over the Top’: When will cast be revealed?
Tonight marks the finale of “Big Brother 18,” but what is interesting about this is mostly that we’re hardly taking some sort of lengthy hiatus between one season and the next! In just one week’s time we will be back here at 10:00 p.m. Eastern to discuss “Big Brother: Over the Top,” the upcoming CBS All Access version that will be a great experiment into the unknown for the show.
In terms of confirmed information, here is what we know.
It’s a much shorter game – While it will still last for more than two months, don’t look for “BB: OTT” to go on for 100 days like this season did. As a result of that, we imagine that the cast will probably be around 12-13 rather than the 16 players who were on board this show the past several seasons.
It’ll on the live feeds – Everything from the competitions to parties and then some will be available for feeders. The only real “show” is going to be on Wednesdays, where Julie Chen will interview an evicted houseguests.
It’ll feature new houseguests – Don’t expect any returning players here. For at least this maiden voyage, CBS is turning over the reigns to newbies experiencing this game for the first time.
We figure that there will probably be some risks taken here or there for the sake of spicing up the game, but it’s hard to know precisely what they will be at present.
What we are assuming, however, is that the crop of houseguests for this season is probably going to be revealed in the coming days, given that we can’t imagine the show not telling us that information at some point in advance. When they are announced, we’ll do our best to cram in some spotlights and other info before the season begins.
