‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: The final full day; more ‘OTT’ discussion
Today marks the final full day for the contestants on “Big Brother 18” in the house, and it’s marked mostly by various degrees of joy and frustration.
For Paul, we’ve continually been impressed with his attitude. He seems to be having a lot of fun with making his final speech, and doesn’t feel a lot of pressure to be perfect or to even be a celebrity after this. Both Nicole and James seemed more upset than he did about “Big Brother: Over the Top” coming on CBS All Access in just one week’s time. While he’s certainly done some things this season we didn’t love, he’s the remaining player who has fought the hardest and would be the best ambassador for this season. He’s up and at ’em for the final day, but for the most part everything is quiet.
Meanwhile, Nicole seems to still be surprising defensive of her game, even though nobody’s challenged it. She’s repeatedly brought up in speech practice just how much she had to deal with, whether it be people calling her names or her being her returning players. She also apparently don’t want to do much after the finale other than chill with her family, which is one of the bummers about returning players in general. They don’t get psyched about the post-finale craziness in anywhere near the same way. We do think Nicole’s been the best strategic player this season, but her defensiveness and her attitude makes her a tad more frustrating winner.
Obviously James would be the worst winner of all, but we don’t think he’s going to win. He doesn’t even think he’s going to get there, and he spent much of last night complaining about how he didn’t get any blood on his hands and that makes him too big of a threat for the final two. Ironically, it’s almost the opposite that could lead to him getting a spot. James has his occasional moments, but if he wins this game he’d possibly be one of the worst winners aside from those who got there as a result of a twist.
One final thing: There was a little bit of a fun discussion last night about how Jozea should be on “BB: OTT” from Nicole and Paul. It’s not going to happen, but we wish they’d give at least Glenn another chance to actually play since he was shunned of that.
