‘Game of Thrones’ season 7: Sophie Turner teases ‘satisfying’ story at Emmys

Game of Thrones

This weekend is the Emmys, and with that the potential for there to be many fabulous awards handed in the direction of “Game of Thrones.” While Sophie Turner is not nominated this year, let’s be honest here: She really should be, given that her work as Sansa Stark was all sorts of incredible recently. At least she was still able to attend the ceremony on Sunday night.

With production gearing up now on season 7, and with all of the scripts already in, Turner had a chance to tell E!’s Giuliana Rancic the following tease while on the red carpet. It may not be the biggest one in the world, but maybe it’ll help ignite the hype train as we roll ever closer to the show starting:

“I was actually speechless. This season is unbelievable, and I think fans are going to be really satisfied.”

Turner also spoke briefly about the tattoos that she and her co-star / current nominee Maisie Williams received, saying that the significance of them is that it marks the date they each booked the show. While they each wanted to get a further tattoo of a wolf in the future if they make it to the end, they went ahead and did this instead given that they don’t quite know how the story ends — and clearly, they didn’t want to wait. (There is still one more season to go after this current one, and that will air at some point in 2018 seemingly.)
