‘Chicago Fire’ season 5 spoilers: Prepare to meet Dawson’s parents!

Given that Dawson is such a key component to “Chicago Fire” at this point, and the same goes for her brother over on “Chicago PD,” it certainly does make a good deal of sense that we would be getting to see even more of this family over the course of the upcoming fifth season of the former.

With that in mind, we are now rather pleased to bring you the following news. Per a report from TVLine, you are going to have a chance to see the characters’ parents over the course of the coming year as they get a chance to celebrate a rather momentum time in their lives: Their 40th wedding anniversary. The characters are described as “wacky” and “old-fashioned,” which to us certainly makes us feel like we could be in for quite a bit of fun whenever we do meet them.

There are a variety of reasons why meeting these characters could be interesting, but to us one of the biggest reasons we’re excited to see this happen is because we’d love to see Dawson and Casey interact with them specifically, especially when you remember for a moment that the two of them also now are trying to make things work with Louie. They have expanded their family, and we are certainly excited to see just what their journey holds as we get deeper and deeper into the episodes ahead.

We’re still a few weeks away from the “Chicago Fire” premiere, but make no mistake that we are going to continue to have updates and further pieces of information as we get closer to it airing.
