‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2 spoilers: First premiere photo featuring … Stephen Amell?
We had a feeling that the second season of “Legends of Tomorrow” was going to be out to deliver the goods, but what we didn’t quite think was that we were going to be seeing a crossover taking place so early into the show’s run.
In the photo above, you can see none other than Stephen Amell stopping by on the show in the role of Oliver Queen, and there are obviously a few bumps in the road in here for him and Mick Rory. From an idea standpoint, we’re all about getting some Oliver in the premiere — it gives “Arrow” fans a reason to watch both shows, and hopefully he’ll also have a chance to do something cool and fun. Remember that the last time he had a major role on “Legends of Tomorrow,” he was sporting a goatee several decades in the future while John Diggle’s son was the new Green Arrow a.k.a. Connor Hawke.
Aside from this, we know that the premiere will of course have a little bit of time travel, introduce at least one or two new characters, and give us a small opportunity to see where this story could go. While we know that the Legion of Doom — which includes Leonard Snart, the Reverse-Flash, Malcolm Merlyn, and Damien Darhk — will be involved as the main villains, there’s no precise word as to where they are going to turn up.
The new season will begin early next month; rest assured, we’ll have some further news soon!
