‘Zoo’ season 3: Premiere date speculation and hopes for more!
Tonight, the second season of “Zoo” is going to end with two hours that are going to (hopefully) provide some answers on some of the season’s longest stories. For example, hopefully we’re going to have a little bit more hope that Jackson will be in a better position by the end of this, just as we also have to hope that there is some more information handed down regarding Pangaea, Robert Oz’s intentions, and how how the animal virus can be contained moving forward — if it can.
At least while you watch these episodes tonight, you can breathe easy knowing that the show is not at the end of the road. CBS already announced that they have renewed the series for a third season, and given their current pattern, there’s no reason to think that they would move it from the summer. Their series roster is otherwise full for some of the other times of the year.
If you’re looking to go even more specific, our guess is that the third season is going to premiere at some point in late June, given that this is precisely the period in which we have seen that happen for each of the past two seasons. What is likely comforting about that window for CBS is that it gives the show a chance to air out its entire season at a time when there is less competition, and also still time for the show to end things off before the fall season starts.
Ultimately, there’s really not much we’d change about the new season in comparison to the first two, other than maybe focusing on the fun factor even more. After all, it remains one of the primary reasons so many watch!
