‘The Last Ship’ season 3, episode 13 (finale) spoilers: Chandler’s life-changing fight

The third season of “The Last Ship” has certainly been stuffed full of twists, turns, and drama, but the past few episodes take the cake over all of them in terms of raising the stages. We’ve been left now in a situation where the America we once knew has completely crumbled, and it is up to Chandler and the crew of the Nathan James in order to ensure that the country manages to find some safety and stability. Given how much has already become destabilized in the mere weeks it took the crew to return home, you better know that this is not going to be easy.

“Don’t Look Back” serves as the title for the season finale, and the synopsis below (while not exactly meaty) gives you a slight sense as to what you can expect:

“As the fight for America reaches its conclusion, Chandler must face a challenge that could change his life forever.”

As we get closer and closer to this big episode airing, be sure to remember this: There is still another season coming up after this one. Therefore, you cannot completely blow up the world, since there does still need to be somewhere else you can go in order to make the series interesting moving into a season 4. (TNT announced the renewal a little bit earlier this summer.)

The one thing we do feel pretty sure about is that lives are going to be in danger. “The Last Ship” has never been a show to let anyone out there get off easy in terms of their survival.
