‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13 video: New footage teased in short promo

Excited for Thursday, September 22? If you’re a fan of the lineup sometimes-known as TGIT (it will forever be that in our heart), you really should be. “Grey’s Anatomy” and “How to Get Away with Murder” will be back, and the two parties are going to be paired up with another series in “Notorious” that is promising plenty of drama and then some.

The new promo below highlights much of the lineup, but to us what remains the most exciting is some of the new footage for “Grey’s Anatomy” that we haven’t had a chance to check out before. Specifically, it appears like season 13 could pick up a relatively-short period of time following the end of season 12, which means after the wedding of Owen and Amelia.

Following that, there are certainly plenty of dramatic situations that we could see unfold. For example, we wonder just how long Meredith and Riggs can keep things together before everything comes to a head when it comes to Maggie’s own feelings towards him. Also, of course we’ve got some serious drama awaiting the Alex – Jo relationship, given her recent profession about being married and also what happened with Andrew in the closing minutes of the season.

There’s a lot to address on this coming season, and we do know that the show is going to take some time giving out all of the reveals. After all, we’ve already heard that you won’t even see Arizona for the first couple of episodes; that will give you some time to focus on other characters, and then Jessica Capshaw should get the spotlight in a rather big way.
