‘Big Brother 18’ debate: Who should return to the game?

Big Brother -Since there’s not a whole lot happening in the “Big Brother” house save for sleeping, and we highly doubt that is going to change over the next few hours, we thought we’d spend some time looking into the future for this article at the returning-juror twist. It’s an event that could take some of the houseguests by surprise, and something that could either make the season dramatically better or dramatically worse, depending on who you’re rooting for.

So for now, let’s do our part to trace out some of the possible returnees in terms of what they would bring to the table, and whether or not they’d stand any chance of actually lasting for a while.

Da’Vonne – Easily, this would be the most interesting option. Would she blame Paul for nominating her, or other people like Nicole and Corey who were more directly responsible for wanting her out? She’d be really fun and would give Michelle an ally, but we could easily see her being sent right back out given that she’s not likely to win any competitions.

Zakiyah – Right now, what she really just needs is to go home and get away from this mess given how her relationship with Paulie has become such a blight on this season. It’d be moderately interesting to see what she does if she comes back, but we ultimately feel it’d be relatively similar to Da’Vonne and not that interesting. She’s a little more likely to go far, but we don’t have a lot of confidence in her making moves — and we say this as someone who picked her to win preseason.

Bridgette – If you’re a Natalie fan, this is what you’re hoping for since she’d almost surely join up with her and James and help to get rid of people like Nicole and Corey for them. She’s very likable, but in the house we don’t think she has the friendships or the resume to be a winner at the end.

Paulie – If you just want the house to detonate, this is what will do that. He’d likely be to Nicole and Corey what Bridgette is to James and Natalie. We think he would also want revenge on Paul, but there are bigger fish to fry and a PP reunion could be a temporary reprieve.

Now that we’ve said this, we really hope this doesn’t happen just because he is insufferable to watch on the live feeds.

Victor – In terms of likability he and Da’Vonne are the best options. The biggest reason to root for Victor is that he has the highest odds winning the next Head of Household out of the people listed, with Paulie probably in second. Therefore, he’d shake up the game the most. Plus, there’s just something about him as a person that makes you want to root for him even though typically we hate the idea of previously-evicted houseguests having a shot at the grand prize.

(Note: We know that there’s a chance Corey could be evicted instead of Victor, but it’s minimal and it’s totally predictable what he’d do if he came back in — just pair up with Nicole and likely try to get revenge on James, since he’d be the person responsible for sending him out if it happens.)
