MTV’s ‘Scream’ season 2, episode 11 preview: Can Emma, Audrey clear their names?

Scream -We certainly had a feeling that things would be getting fairly crazy on “Scream” season 2 by the time we neared the end of the road, and all indications out there now suggest we are officially at critical mass.

Next week’s episode is taking on another movie title in “Heavenly Creatures,” and while Emma and Audrey may have thought that all of their searching was getting them closer to finding answers, the reality is that it really just brought on them even more peril. Per SpoilerTV / MTV, the two characters are going to be reeling further in the wake of what happened on tonight’s episode, and as a result of that, they will face a mountain of evidence that makes it seem as though they are behind several killings. They’ll go from the hunter to the hunters in terms of looking for a suspect, and that is certainly a rather dangerous place to be.

Whatever happens in this episode should set up the finale rather nicely … though maybe “nicely” is the wrong word for it. Above all else, we’re just bracing ourselves for what is likely going to be a lot of chaos coming up, and given that there are two more hours and the show is facing an uncertain future, it’d be completely silly for us to think that the producers are going to go quietly into the night. If this is the end, you want to go out in the biggest, craziest way possible.

(Personally, we’d prefer to know if the finale is the series finale in advance, but we doubt that luxury will present itself.)

The promo below offers up some more details about Emma’s danger, the aftermath of Zoe’s death, and a possible Eli connection to the killer. Watch and be fearful…
