The Indianapolis Finals for “American Ninja Warrior” is coming your way on Monday night, and the sneak peek below raises one question more so than any other: Can Megan Martin become one of the most successful female contestants on the show to date?
Martin’s appearance on the show comes after Jessie Graff gave an incredible performance in the Los Angeles finals, and the promo certainly seems to hype up that she could have a memorable run on the course. We’ll see what happens in a matter of hours.
In general, we do think that this season has proven itself to be completely enjoyable, mostly because the show has transitioned nicely to being an NBC fixture, and to go along with that, the network knows how to promote their notable athletes. Even participants like Graff have figured out how to use the show and their participation on it to their advantage strategically. (Graff’s Wonder Woman costume, coupled with her work on “Supergirl,” brought her additional attention.) These are things that we welcome for all participants to come, given that in terms of the format, there are only a few differences from one season to the next. As a result of that, the combatants do need to figure out a few ways to stand out on their own.
One thing that is certain is that the show is as popular as ever. The ratings have remained fairly steady despite going up against “The Bachelorette,” which is a pretty crazy and impressive achievement no matter how you view it.
