‘Teen Wolf’ season 6: Tyler Posey reacts to series ending (Comic-Con 2016)

Teen Wolf -

The sixth season of “Teen Wolf” will be coming before too long, but the sad news is that there’s not going to be any more on the horizon afterwards. If you missed it, it was confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con Thursday that this will be the final season of the show, and of course this is will be an emotional affair saying goodbye to these characters that everyone has loved to have as a part of the show for so long.

In making the announcement to the crowd of people at the panel, creator Jeff Davis said the following:

“This season is a little different, but no less reason to celebrate. We’re going to hit 100 episodes at the end of season 6, and we’ve decided that 100 episodes is going to be it … These next 20 episodes will be the final season … I’m going to start to cry, I think.”

Meanwhile, star Tyler Posey also waxed poetic on the journey so far:

“This is the regime that we built. I just want to let everybody know from everybody here’s heart that this has been the biggest movement that we’ve ever been a part of … You mean so much to me.”

We know that the show certainly plans to go out with the biggest bang possible, and a season full of crazy characters, but surprises, and hopefully a few things that fans have waited a long time to see. Dylan O’Brien was not at the panel, as he continues to recover from some injuries on the set of “The Maze Runner,” but he sent along a note calling the series ending “bittersweet.”
