The 100th episode of “Rizzoli & Isles” is going to be coming up on TNT before long, and anytime you have an event like this, it’s fair to expect a little something extra out of the story. This time around is more than likely no exception, as you could see Jane Rizzoli entering into what may be one of the most dangerous situations in which we’ve seen her yet.
Just how dangerous are we talking about here? Well, Entertainment Weekly reports that someone is going to be rather displeased about the decision that Jane makes to go undercover at prison, and they will as a result likely find a way to vocalize it. We would say that this story was inspired by “Orange is the New Black” in some way, but the reality here is that this is hardly the first episode in the history of crime shows to go undercover in jail. Countless other shows have done it, and the majority of the time, it is entertaining.
The aforementioned site does also know that something out in the field could make Nina question her “professional partnership” at present with Frankie, and we wonder if this is one of the complications that does inevitably come with two characters being together at work, and then also having something romantic going on after hours. That puts a big strain on you, and maybe it also keeps you from thinking with as clear of a mind in the field as it could otherwise. It’s a complicated situation, but one we’re excited to see play out.
In the end, there is one more story to get to before the 100th episode airs, and that’s what we will be previewing tomorrow! Stay tuned…
