‘The Walking Dead’ season 7: Comic-Con key art all about Negan
In preparation for its time at San Diego Comic-Con next week, “The Walking Dead” season 7 has released its latest key art … and it really shouldn’t surprise anyone that Negan is front and center for it.
When you think about it, you really should wonder whether or not there was anything else that AMC could’ve even included for this poster given where the show is in the story. They’re not going to want to give away almost anything when it comes to what you can expect to see following Negan’s attack. This is the defining moment for the premiere, and one of the most notable moments in the entire series. What happens in this moment will more than likely set off a chain of events that will unwind and get progressively more and more crazy over time.
We figure there are already a billion different articles out there suggesting who Negan is going to kill, and it is therefore a little bit tough to further add to that narrative. With that said, the thing that we are a little more curious about moving beyond that how the show is going to be able to sustain and build hype. Will the mystery of the other stories benefit from this singular focus, or will they be forgotten under the weight of all of this hype? In their own way, both are worthy questions.
There is no specific premiere date listed in the key art, but the middle of October is a safe bet given that this is when the show has started often in the past.
