‘Scream Queens’ season 2 spoilers: Emma Roberts confirms new Chanel love interest

For the second season of “Scream Queens,” it appears that love will be in the air … or at least as much as love can be when you think about the tone of this show.

Speaking in a chat with Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live!” this week, Emma Roberts made it clear that her character of Chanel Oberlin would have some sort of romantic plotline with a new character. Who is it? That she would not say, at least other than that they are played by either John Stamos or Taylor Lautner.

At first glance, it definitely feels age-wise like Lautner would be the obvious choice, but who knows? There could certainly be some drama and intrigue that comes from her playing an older man.

If you missed it, the second season of “Scream Queens” is going to be moving from a primary setting of a university to that of a hospital, one where many season 1 characters will further their careers in the medical world … at least while at the same time trying to not be killed. Given the nature of this show, you have to expect that there will be some more killings, with many of them being hilarious, gory, and maybe a combination between the two. We just hope that the writers still find a way to be creative, since that was for the most part one of the biggest strengths of the first season. It was challenging, but they pulled it off.
