‘Celebrity Big Brother’ 2016: Lil’ Kim rumored to be joining Jaymi Hensley, others

The new season of “Celebrity Big Brother” is quickly approaching, and that of course means a chance for the British press to go crazy over casting rumors. This sort of thing happens every year, but this time around they may have a thing or two right.

For example, take Lil’ Kim. While we cannot confirm as of yet that she is a part of the upcoming series, the idea of it does make some sense. She is a well-known name, and according to a source via the Daily Star, producers are shelling out a record amount of cash in order to get her aboard:

“Producers are thrilled they’ve finally got her. It’s taken a lot of cash but they are confident she will be worth it.”

For Lil’ Kim, meanwhile, a source claims that this could be an opportunity for her to get out in front of some rumors and controversies, and allow even more people the opportunity to get to know who she really is as a person. It is the sort of show that can make you fans, but the potential for embarrassment is high based primarily on some of the people you are with.

Lady Colin Campbell, Union J’s Jaymi Hensley, former “Made in Chelsea” star Spencer Matthews, “Mob Wives” alum Renee Graziano and Absolutely Fabulous star Helen Leder and former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding are some of the other rumored cast members at the moment. Basically, it’s a list of vaguely-familiar people … at least in the UK. If you’re reading from America Renee and Jaymi may be the only people you’ve ever head of aside from Kim, if you’re lucky.
