‘America’s Got Talent’ video: Sofie Dassi reacts to surprising audition

Every week on “America’s Got Talent” so far this season, we’ve commented on one contestant in particular who has managed to go somewhat viral in their time since the show. This week in particular, that contestant in particular appears to be Sofie Dassi.

Since the show aired on Tuesday night, the teenage contortionist / foot-archer has amassed over 25 million views on Facebook for her audition video, and also more than 700,000 on YouTube. There are not exactly too many others out there that have drawn this sort of collective audience, and it’s easy to understand why: There are not too many people who can do what Sofie does in this audition. It’s creative, and she sets a big challenge for herself to top this with her next performance.

In this new video below Dassi reacts to the audition, including some of the reactions that the judges had to her act. We like that NBC is releasing these videos this year and doing their best to promote them, since they do help to create a whole lot more of a community around the show. Sometimes, it is easy to forget about specific talent in between the auditions and the next round, but these do help in order to ensure everyone remains a little bit more memorable.

There is at least one more audition show left, and we’ll see what sort of talent comes from there. If nothing else, we know that Nick Cannon does still have a golden buzzer to press…
