‘Supernatural’ season 12 spoilers: Jared Padalecki hoping for more Misha Collins scenes
Clearly, Jared Padalecki is on the same wavelength as many of us when it comes to one thing pertaining to “Supernatural” season 12: A desire to see a lot of Castiel, preferably without waiting for a long time to see it.
Speaking to TVLine, the actor made it clear that for the upcoming batch of episodes, it’d be nice to have “some nice Sam/Castiel scenes … I love Misha [Collins]. I get a lot of Sam/Dean scenes, and I love Jensen, but I love exploring the Sam/Castiel relationship.” Why wouldn’t you want to see more of this? Castiel dynamics are always fun, and given that Misha doesn’t always appear in every episode of the show, you do have to make the most of him whenever he is around.
Ultimately, how much of this we get will depend heavily on the story, which seems to be taking a different turn this season given what happened to Sam in the finale and more of the Men of Letters mythology that looks to be opening up moving forward.
To go along with Jared’s comments, Jensen Ackles also shared more of what he would personally like to see:
“Purgatory, I thought, was a really, really cool part of the story. That might be cool to maybe go revisit.
“I’d also like to see more of a hunter network … I’m a big fan of the original format of the show, the monster-of-the-week kind of thing. [But] I don’t know how we necessarily get back to that with everything that’s happened.”

I agree with Jensen…we want more of them getting back to the Family business … more of the Hunter interactions…like “The Chitters” episode. Monster of the week is really fun and believe me … we don’t have to have snooty Brits in the storyline. I’m already sick of this “LADY” crap .. we’re Americans…it just doesn’t sit well. Dean and Sam are as American as “APPLE PIE”! They don’t need to go to England to fight anything. Dean hates to fly anyway. Make it a flesh wound, Cas zips back and takes care of her, cares for Sam and we move on.
