Is ‘America’s Got Talent’ new tonight? What’s going on with time change
If you find yourself turning on NBC tonight and seeing Olympic trials rather than “America’s Got Talent,” we have a rather simple message for you: Do not panic. The Olympics are coming up (which is tremendous), but you’re not losing your talent show, either. Not only that, but it will still run for the same two hours that it has.
Tonight, “AGT” is merely being delayed or an hour and will air at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time with the latest audition show. You’ll still get a chance to see some really crazy acts, and hopefully a few things that you have not quite seen before. Based on the way in which the network is promoting the episode, we do almost wonder if they have sensed some of the frustration that is out there from viewers about this season, at least in terms of the singers who have collectively received all of the golden buzzers. We know that over the past few years in particular, voters have really gravitated more towards the variety acts as opposed to what they can see on other shows.
We’ll see what happens tonight, and rest assured that we are going to continue to bust out some of the same coverage of the show that we always do. We’re imagining that a fun night lies in store!
While you wait for tonight’s episode to air, we’re going to do our best to continue to be your one-stop source for all things “AGT.” Be sure to head over here right now to get everything from a preview for tonight’s episode to some reflections on some acts from this past episode.
