‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Bridgette’s comments and hollow threats

We’re still not going to act like this is the most eventful week in the history of “Big Brother” live feeds, because it’s not. Basically, Jozea is going home, and doesn’t fully understand yet precisely what is going on. We’re basically in a holding pattern just so that we can have one moment on Thursday where he is hilariously blindsided and sent out the door. It’ll be entertaining, but we’re not sure it will be worth it.

Apparently, Bridgette (who is technically on the block) is not really helping her cause to be someone completely safe from going home. Overnight in the house she was venting, and proclaimed that she wanted to shave off Michelle’s eyebrows. Zakiyah went and spread some of her comments around, and of course the other side of the house wasn’t happy. Michelle proclaimed that she hoped Bridgette would lose her job, which is 1) over the line and 2) complete nonsense given the crime. People on season 15 said worse and some of them kept their jobs. Also, people this season (i.e. Corey) has said worse.

What was also interesting as a side reaction here is that we’re getting almost a good people vs. bad people narrative thrown out there. This is something that Nicole said in response to Bronte / Bridgette / Paul’s actions, and while this can be really frustrating as a viewer to see people effectively throw themselves on a high horse, it is super-effective to demonize other people. Derrick was excellent at this in season 16, so maybe Nicole did a good job of watching what he did before coming into the game.

Nicole also threatened to confront Bridgette … but the odds of that happening are as high as Glenn currently winning the game.
