‘The Last Ship’ season 3, episode 4 preview: What lies ahead for Eric Dane, cast in ‘Devil May Care’

Tonight, “The Last Ship” is airing its third episode of the season, and it was one that at least started things off with a clearer mission: Chandler was back with the majority of the crew, and he had to figure out more how to get the rest of them back.

So what is going to be coming up on TNT next week? We can at least tell you right now that the title for the next episode is “Devil May Care,” and the official synopsis below gives you a few more details as to what the next steps could be:

“Chandler must confront his suspected new foe. Slattery learns more about the supposed virus mutation. Pressure mounts on President Michener as the situation worsens.”

What will this story bring? There’s clearly still quite a bit of mystery here, but it certainly seems clear that Slattery is going to have a very key role in what is to come … whatever that may be. It’ll certainly be interesting to explore over the weeks ahead.

We’ve now got a promo for you below, and this one makes it clear that there is almost going to be a prison break that takes place as in order to be heroes, we’re going to see Chandler and company do what they can in order to break into a Chinese prison. What we like about this story is that it is very much tactics-based more so than anything else, so the characters will have to rely on some different skills for a change.
