‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13: Could Alex be roped into Meredith – Maggie conflict?
Sometimes, the best of plans, even with notable intentions, can crumble before your eyes. Based on what we know right now regarding “Grey’s Anatomy” this season, that is clearly going to happen when it comes to the Riggs situation. It’s more than a little complicated, and it started courtesy of Meredith and Nathan getting together late last season. Meanwhile, Alex had encouraged Maggie to go after him, and then Maggie told her sister Meredith a thing or two about her feelings for him … after the two of them got together and before she said anything about.
You gotta think that this could be messy, right? When asked about what this could mean for Maggie and Alex moving forward, and if she would take out some eventual frustrations on him, Kelly McCreery said the following to Entertainment Weekly:
“If it will enable us to do more brother-sister bickering, I certainly hope so because that’s one of my favorite things to do is bicker with Justin [Chambers] … It’s possible. Look, this is a very, very sensitive situation. More than anything, I think that Maggie’s ego will probably be wounded. Anybody playing any part in that, Maggie might find herself on the outs with them for a little while.”
The one thing Maggie may need to be aware of at the moment is that Alex is clearly going to have a wide array of problems of his own. Just remember for a moment here what he has been through with Jo, and how he reacted to what he thought was her hooking up with Andrew in the finale.
