‘UnREAL’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Can Rachel convince Darius to stay on ‘Everlasting’?

If there is one thing about secrets, especially in a world like the “UnREAL” show-within-a-show “Everlasting,” it is that they almost always have a tendency to come out. This is something that Darius Hill really should have determined before deciding to become the new lead for the show in an attempt to try and repair his image.

While not everyone seems to have figured this said secret out just yet, he is going to realize throughout next week’s “Tension” that it may be his best move to get out of Dodge while he still can. However, we’re going to of course see Rachel and by extension Coleman do everything that they can to convince him to go in a different direction. Per TV Guide, you can see the official synopsis for this hour below:

“Darius reveals his secret to Rachel and decides he must quit the show, but Rachel asks Coleman to help change his mind; Quinn and Chet join forces to produce a football episode; and Chet brings his baby to the set. Meanwhile, Quinn confronts Rachel about betraying the network.”

Before we make it to the end of this episode, we’re going to have some other revelations most likely that will raise the stakes not only for Darius, but also for “Everlasting” and the network as a whole. This is not the sort of show that likes to take a deep breath at any point during production; instead, it’s much more likely to just accelerate things out of control.
