‘Big Brother 18’: When will we find out about (likely) returning players?

Earlier today, CBS confirmed the twelve newbies entering the “Big Brother” house, with the new season premiering on Wednesday, June 22, and this list includes siblings of former contestants in Cody Calafiore and Vanessa Rousso.

But are they really going to be the only people taking part in this season? If you’ve been sleuthing around online, you already know that the answer to this is a pretty firm “no.” There will be more players, and more than likely, they will be returning players.

Just in case you’re wondering why in the world the network didn’t just confirm these four already, the simple answer to that seems to be that the network wanted to ensure that they have another ace in the hole for the premiere, most likely. We would be surprised if they choose to reveal these returnees before the first episode, mostly because at this point, there’s really no reason for them to. Granted, we may feel this in part because we’re salty over the whole “let’s bring back four people” twist to begin with, given that this has been done already, and we think that if these returning players get together with the siblings in Tiffany and Paulie, it’s basically season 13 all over again. Does anyone else out there REALLY want much of a repeat of that? We think not.
