‘Grey’s Anatomy’ alum Sandra Oh reunites with Kevin McKidd, shares funny message

It’s been seasons now since we’ve seen Sandra Oh appear on “Grey’s Anatomy” as Dr. Cristina Yang, but there’s still something rather sweet and nostalgic about her showing that she and her former co-star in Kevin McKidd are still very much good friends.

The photo below was posted recently onto Oh’s official Twitter page, and it features her alongside Kevin alongside a pretty darn funny message about Owen’s new relationship / apparent marriage to Amelia from the season 12 finale of the show. In reality, we of course like to think that Cristina would be happy for her ex, given that the two did ultimately want different things out of their lives, and that is one of the reasons why their relationship / marriage never worked out in the end.

Do we think Oh could appear as Cristina on the show again? We do, mostly because it seems like she left the show on very good terms, and obviously she’s got a great relationship still with the cast. Our feeling is that if it was some sort of grand milestone episode down the road, we would have a chance to see Cristina back in Seattle. The same goes if it were a series finale. Even though we don’t often see or hear about it, we do think that Cristina is a part of Meredith Grey’s life, and they do talk here or there. The thought of this not happening is a little bit too depressing to bear.

Season 13 of “Grey’s Anatomy” will premiere at some point in September more than likely, and we’ll have further updates on it soon!
