‘Chicago Med’ season 2 spoilers: Who’s getting a little romance?

The second season of “Chicago Med” will be coming your way on NBC this fall, and when the show returns, you better get ready for love to be in the air to a certain extent! Specifically, we’re talking about making sure that Dr. Rhodes is involved moving forward romantically with someone … even if we cannot confirm just yet who that someone is.

Instead, all we have for you is this small little teaser on the subject of his love life, handed down from executive producer Andrew Schneider to TVLine:

“You can’t have a guy who’s that talented and [good-looking] and not have him be in love a little.”

Who knows? Maybe it’ll be a new love interest, or it could even be someone either from this show or another in the “Chicago” universe. We know that this is something that has been done before with other installments in the franchise, but we’re really not that opposed to it provided that you find interesting ways to pair the characters up. The only person we’d be really opposed to being involved is Burgess over on “Chicago PD,” and that is because we’ve already had some chances to see her romantically involved with other characters and it’d be nice to just have her be single for a little while.

One way or another, maybe we’ll have some other news when it comes to season 2 closer to when it airs. Stay tuned, since we’re certainly planning to offer up further information in the weeks ahead!
