‘Royal Pains’ season 8 spoilers: The 100th episode and a surprise return

We’re already celebrating the final season of “Royal Pains” on USA, but the show is also going to be giving you something else to celebrate come Wednesday, June 8: The landmark 100th episode! It’s something that we’ve waited to see for some time, and it seems like the writers have figured out at least one way to take things to the next level: By bringing back Jill Flint.

If you look below, you can see the synopsis for this episode entitled “Doubt of Africa,” which also features Hank going back to a former side of his career:

“In the 100th episode, Hank works a shift in the ER for the first time in years. Jill makes a surprise visit to the Hamptons. Jeremiah bonds with a patient he secretly admires, and Divya worries for a patient.”

Hopefully by the time we get around to this episode we’ll have some further context to some of these stories, specifically in terms of why Jill is coming back. Given that the next new episode airing Wednesday has not aired yet, we don’t really have the same sort of insight that we typically have when writing these. More than anything else, we just how that it is true to the spirit of the show: Fun, breezy, creative, and something that makes you want to go to the Hamptons yourself … of course without some of the medical emergencies included.
