‘Outlander’ season 2, episode 3 video: Jamie’s focus; clues in the music

Changing history and the Jacobite Rebellion is no easy task; you have to think and say that even more so when the onus of it falls almost entirely on just a pair of people.

While Claire Fraser on “Outlander” may be able to do her part in order to steal Jamie in the right direction behind the scenes, he is having to execute many of their missions on the front lines. This is one of the big takeaways from the latest promo below, as we learn that more and more clues are hidden in the strangest of places … such as music. He will have to play at points decoder, and at other points politicians, getting close to the people necessary so that he can learn what they are hiding. It’s certainly a far cry from the brutal, violent circumstances that he often found himself in back in Scotland.

Also, we do wonder just what will happen to him in the event that he learns something more about Black Jack Randall, provided of course that Claire decides to tell him at some point about what she has learned. Maybe there is a particular time that is right for this, but we cannot imagine that there is. It is going to be brutal one way or another regardless, so may be it is best to just get the reveal out of the way not? That way, the two parties can prepare for any future problems immediately … provided that there are any future problems. For the time being, we assume that Jonathan is still off in Scotland.
