‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 18 video: Could Ben’s mistake cost him his job?

We knew that Dr. Miranda Bailey would be facing some tough decisions in her new job at “Grey’s Anatomy,” but we have to assume that she was not expecting to face too many of them when it comes to her husband. Yet, that is precisely the situation that she is facing in the sneak peek below for Thursday night’s new episode.

In this preview, Bailey and Alex are in a little bit of a pickle when some of Ben’s mistakes could put them in a compromising position, and she has to order Dr. Warren to go out of the operating room so that Alex can continue the procedure. What happens here remains to be seen, but don’t expect everything to be resolved over the course of a single hour. This is going to run at least for two episodes (there are two hours airing Thursday night), and during that time we should see a few more twists and turns enter the fray. From a viewer perspective, it should be incredibly compelling. However, we’re pretty darn sure that Dr. Warren won’t feel that way.

Given that we want to see Jason George remain a part of the show, let’s hope that everything works out. Otherwise, we’re not sure how much time they will have to include him given that the show doesn’t spend a whole lot of time out of the hospital these days unless we’re talking about a few characters who have been a part of the show since the beginning.
