‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ finale preview: Yolanda Hadid’s divorce enters the discussion
If only we could’ve stayed in Dubai forever on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” If we did, we’d be able to forget more about this one-note season and pretend that it is some sort of travel special.
The biggest problem with this season is that the Housewives / producers got one idea into their head as to what was a good story, and then they proceeded to beat said idea into the ground. We’re of course talking about Yolanda Hadid’s illness and some of the ladies questioning the legitimacy of it. Our heart went out to her from the beginning, but why did anyone think, especially after dealing with Brooks on “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” that we wanted to see another full season of this nonsense? (Note that we’re not comparing the truthfulness of one situation to the other; we’re talking more in terms of the edit and how much the other women spoke about them.)
Unfortunately for Yolanda fans, there’s not any better news to report from the preview below for Tuesday night’s season finale. Instead, the news is going to break for the first time on the show that she and David are divorcing, and of course almost everyone has their own take on it. Luckily it seems like Yolanda and David are keeping much of it out of the headlines in real life and she seems to be happy now; it’s one of those things that we assume will be discussed more at length at the reunion show, to go along with the other storyline-that-shall-not-be-named.
In other news (insert broadcast-style ticker here), Kim Richards will be surfacing, and in turn be accused of being extremely manipulative by Lisa Rinna, who really has not shied away with fighting with anyone as of late. Lisa Vanderpump is also going to be put on the offensive, and (wouldn’t you know it) all of this happens at what is meant to be a party, because a party is never actually a party on this show and nobody ever seems to have any fun.
