‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: More updates on Griffin Grey’s appearance

FlashThe upcoming April 26 episode of “The Flash” is entitled “Back to Normal,” which of course makes us think that things are about to turn very abnormal. This is the not the end of the season, and it would not be like this show or any in the CW superhero universe to suddenly end with a whimper rather than a bang.

This episode is actually going to feature the arrival of Griffin Grey to the show, who is a character we heard announced for a show a long time ago, and were starting to wonder when he was going to show up. Based on the synopsis below, though, there could be a little bit of an identity crisis at the center of his story in particular:

“A meta-human with super strength named Griffin Grey (guest star Haig Sutherland) mistakes Harry (Tom Cavanagh) for Earth-1 Harrison Wells and kidnaps him, demanding that Wells cure him from his current condition. Realizing another brilliant Wells could help track Griffin’s location, Barry asks Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) to help. Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) corners Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about The Flash.”

Hooray, Jesse could be coming back! Also, here’s another hooray to Wally hopefully getting a little bit more involved. If you’re going to have this guy as a part of the show, you may as well fully integrate him, since keeping him partially on the sidelines is not really something that works in the long-term … especially if there are some intentions eventually to ever have him meet his own comic-book destiny.
