Is ‘Supergirl’ episode 19 new tonight on CBS? New look at Melissa Benoist in ‘Myriad’

Last week, “Supergirl” gave comic book fans everywhere a thrill with the long-awaited mashup entitled “Worlds Finest.” It was a chance to see a collision course between Kara Zor-El and Barry Allen, and we like to think that it was only the beginning of some future fan service that could come between the shows on The CW and this one over on CBS. Given the elevated ratings, that may be as much of a reason as any to try to do this again.

With that said, we do think that it would have been a fairly-smart move on the part of the network to air another installment this week to try to capture some momentum; unfortunately, that’s not happening. CBS is opting for repeats instead tonight, and the next installment of “Supergirl” entitled “Myriad” will air next week. This will be the direct continuation of what you saw at the end of this past episode, with James Olsen being hypnotized as a part of some strange phenomenon orchestrated by Non.

The photo above is our first shot of where Kara is going in order to try to figure out how to resolve this problem … and it’s a mighty big one. Laura Vandervoort is also going to be returning as Indigo in this episode, and we’ve already seen that with her powers to basically utilize any form of technology she wants in order to do her bidding, she’s dangerous enough even without someone like Non working to control her bidding.

The events here will once lead once again directly into “Better Angels,” which is the finale for the show airing on April 18. Come next week, maybe we’ll have a little bit more news on that episode.
