‘Supergirl’ episode 18 video: Italia Ricci, Brit Morgan talk Silver Banshee, Livewire

With all of the various videos that CBS is releasing prior to Monday night’s big episode of “Supergirl,” it is fairly easy to assume one thing: Everyone involved is really excited about this!

We know that there are many other videos out there discussing Supergirl meeting up with The Flash, so we thought that part of the fun here would be discussing more of the villains! In the video below, Italia Ricci and Brit Morgan discuss bringing in the Silver Banshee and Livewire into this episode, and the sort of fun that comes with having two villains in the story at the same time. Morgan makes a great point here about most villains having to do their conquest in a rather isolated way, and this team-up give each one of them a unique counterpoint and perspective.

Also, it’s extremely jarring to watch Ricci talk about the show below while wearing the entire Banshee costume.

The only thing that we’re bummed out about for now is that we haven’t seen the full range of the Banshee’s powers in the comic books hinted at on the show, though we wonder if some of that is due mostly to this character still being in its formative stages, as Siobhan is just starting to understand more of the power she holds within. It’s definitely something that we’d like to see more over the course of the series’ run, provided that the show gets a chance to get a second season. It was not one of the shows just renewed by the network, so we are left waiting.
