‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Watchdogs’ and revelations

Through the first two episodes of “Agents of SHIELD” season 3 in 2016, there has been one storyline that has risen to the surface: The plight of the Inhumans. These are a people who have been trying for some time to figure out what their parameters are in this world, if they can survive, and what is the best way to make that happen.

On the upcoming March 29 episode entitled “Watchdogs,” it definitely feels as though there will be some other struggles that surface for these characters thanks to a new group with a very particular agenda. Take a look at the recently-released synopsis below:

“When a radical group called The Watchdogs emerges with plans to eliminate the Inhumans, Agent Mack and his brother become caught in the crossfire. Meanwhile, Simmons discovers a powerful chemical compound that could alter the future for Inhumans.”

By the time we make it to the end of this particular story, we imagine that we’ll be getting a little bit more in the way of information on how Simmons factors into things in the long-term this season, and that excites us greatly. She may be one of our favorite characters, and we’ve been among that contingent as of late who has been somewhat fearful that the regular members of SHIELD will be phased out by the Secret Warriors. We’ve had some assurances that this will not happen from time to time, but that has not stopped the unease altogether.
