‘Shameless’ season 6, episode 10 preview: Sean, Fiona prepare for a wedding

Are we really going to see a wedding coming on “Shameless” this season? In all honesty, this is really a rather difficult thing to figure out when you stop and think about this show for a moment. While it certainly seems like we are heading down the path towards that happening, the thing that you still have to remember is that this is “Shameless” that we’re talking about here! When was the last time that things really went according to plan with this show? The answer here really should be “almost never.”

In a sneak peek for the next new episode, which you can see over at the link here, you can see Fiona do what she can to promise Sean that their wedding is going to be very different than the one she had with Gus … which is why she wants to do everything in as different a way as possible. She doesn’t want to bring anything into the marriage that she brought into her last one.

Therefore, she makes it clear that she wants a bachelorette party, a wedding in a church, and to even abstain from having sex until the wedding day. (Three guesses as to which one of those rules he is the most reluctant to follow.) After hearing all of this, Sean does his best to reassure her by saying that the reason their wedding will be different is because they are different, and there is nothing that other relationships can do to compare.

In the end, that may be the real reason why this relationship works out in a way that the others did not.
